Wellness Workshops
Community Wellness workshops tackle a range of important health and nutrition topics and provide reasonable and realistic tips for improving your health. In these public classes, you will:
- learn more about specific nutrition topics
- leave with easy to follow tips for improving your health in the topic area
- have an opportunity to ask questions and share your experiences
Sample workshop topics include eating for energy, sugar blues, nutrition for stress management, among others. Check the Upcoming Classes page for a list of scheduled workshops workshops.
Cooking Classes and Demonstrations
What if every meal was an opportunity to heal? In these small 60-90-minute public classes, you will:
- learn easy, delicious ways to put more nutritional bang into your daily meals
- identify foods that will give you more energy, improve digestion and strengthen your immune system
- gain hands-on experience with simple go-to recipes
- learn side by side with your neighbors and friends
- feel more confidence in your kitchen and at the grocery store
Sample classes include:
- Baking with Alternative Natural Sweeteners
- Glorious Greens!
- Great Grains
- Eating with the Seasons (classes for Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall)

Corporate Consultations
Work with me to develop and implement a wellness plan that will encourage healthy eating, exercise, and self-care for your colleagues, in and outside of the workplace.
Some typical components include:
- Developing partnerships with local yoga and Pilates studios for on-site classes or frequent user deals
- Organizing walking or running groups
- Evaluating and improving on-site snack choices
- Group nutrition challenges (e.g. who can go sugar free for a month)
- A series of brown-bag health and wellness workshops that tackle relevant issues (e.g. eating for energy, sugar blues, the nutritional side of stress management)
